hen tutoring IS the key, the Merrill Educational Center offers the following subjects: English, Spanish, History, Mathematics, Science, Keyboarding. Teachers have a teaching credential, most often with accompanying work or graduate degrees in their respective areas. The subjects are available on all levels, from introductory through college.
I can’t say enough about the Merrill Educational Center. Being parents of a child with processing issues, it was very difficult for our child to become academically sound in mathematics. The staff has been great–right from our initial consultation with Lynne Merrill to scheduling issues with Wendy, our needs have been met. The individualized attention and teaching techniques that Nicole has provided to our daughter has given her greater academic confidence and has boosted her grades.
Nicole’s patience to meet our child’s needs is praiseworthy. Daily, she strengthens our daughter’s understanding through daily repetition of math skills and problem solving. As a result of the continuity with Nicole, our daughter has risen two grade levels in six months!
